This festival season in particular is always a special one because fans, and events, go all out for an unforgettable Halloween experience. From creepy stage designs and attractions, too scary good sets from the best DJ’s in the world, this weekend has it all. Here are some of the biggest festivals this Halloween to check out and add to your calendars.
Escape (Oct. 28th + 29th) – San Bernardino, CA

Arguably the biggest event of this weekend, Escape is Insomniac’s premier Halloween event. Since 2011 this event has been a hot spot for fans who are looking for a one of a kind holiday experience. Located at the famous NOS Event Center in San Bernardino Escape hosts 4 massive stages and other unique attractions. Hosted across 2 days this year’s line up is the biggest in history with some of the best names from around the globe. Marshmello, Alesso, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Diplo, Eric Prydz, Kayzo, Subtronics, and Deborah De Luca are some of the many names taking the stages this weekend. So no matter what your taste is there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Not only does this event take place across 4 different stages, but it will also host its signature “Crazy Town” attraction. In the heart of Escape lies an immersive festival experience. This includes haunted houses, interactive art installations, professional acrobatic performers, horror actors, gift shop, full cocktail bar, food vendors, and more. Freaky Deaky (Oct. 29th + 30th) – Baytown, TX

Since 1994 Disco Donnie Presents has been hosting events all around the world. This Halloween the production giant presents one of the biggest events in the south. Freaky Deaky will take place at the Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas. Spread across 3 stages this year’s line up will feature massive names from all genres of dance music. Kaskade, Illenium, Chris Lake, Steve Aoki, and more will be gracing the decks at the speedway Halloween weekend. In addition to Escape, Freaky Deaky will also be providing fans a special immersive experience throughout the festival grounds. “The Graveyard” is where festival goers can experience illusionists, acrobats, fire breathers, cirque performers, and more live performances.
Another special experience Freaky Deaky offers is an on-site campground. Fans who are looking for a full festival experience can camp in size appropriate tents and verified RV’s all weekend long. With a campground on-site fans can easily access the venue in time to catch all their favorite performances that weekend.

Boo! Halloween (Oct. 28th + 29th) – Seattle, WA

For fans in the PNW looking to get crazy on Halloween Weekend, Boo! has you covered. Another special Insomniac event held at Washington’s premier venue will provide 2 days of pure fright and delight. The WaMu theater offers fans a special indoor experience to catch all of their favorite performers spread across 3 stages. This year’s line up includes talent from many EDM fan favorites. Alison Wonderland, Alan Walker, Benny Benassi, Said The Sky, and exclusive performances from Jauz: Off The Deep End, and Rezz (Nightmare on Rezz street), and more will be included. Certainly with the recent release of, “Nightmare on Rezz Street 2,” Rezz will be providing fans at WaMU theater a true Halloween experience.
In addition to incredible sets, Boo! will also include many special attractions. Inside the WaMu theater Insomniac as organized carnival rides and roller coasters for fans to catch in between sets.
