Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means one stacked weekend of events instead of the usual scattered week of shows. Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31, from SoCal up to Vancouver and out to the Arizona desert, the dance music calendar turns into one giant costume party with a conflict problem. You can’t be in San Bernardino, Seattle, the Bay Area, Arizona, and Vancouver at once, which makes this just as much of a Halloween trick as it is a treat. So pick your sound and destination, if you’re not local, plan the trip.
ANOTR: Under the 6th St. Bridge
Amsterdam duo ANOTR (Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney) have spent the last few years turning festival-size house records into a full brand through their No Art label. For Halloween they land in LA for WITHNESS, a Factory 93 production at Ace Mission Studios under the 6th Street Bridge on October 30, 6PM to 12AM. One night, one warehouse, no filler. If you are in LA that Friday, this one is an easy yes.

Chris Stussy
Dutch producer and label boss Chris Stussy has quickly established himself as one of the hottest names in tech house. Known for his UK-leaning house sound, his USA Weekender run has been one of the more anticipated returns to North America this fall. For Halloween weekend he hits two West Coast stops: Rawhide in Chandler, Arizona on October 30 (the Framework and Relentless Beats show, more on that below) and San Diego’s Gallagher Square on October 31. Escape: SoCal’s Biggest Festival
Escape Halloween is the anchor of the whole weekend, and has been since 2011. Insomniac runs the festival at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on October 30 and 31, 18+, with multi-stage haunted-carnival production that has become SoCal’s flagship Halloween rave.
The lineup isn’t out yet, but Insomniac loves to drop the lineup at HARD Summer over August Long Weekend. What you can count on is scale. This is the biggest Halloween EDM footprint on the West Coast.

Ibiza talent hits Bay Area with Factory 93 during the island’s off-season. Factory 93 takes over Gold Bar Hangar in Alameda on October 30 and 31, 21+, doors at 7. BOO Seattle: The PNW Celebration
Seattle gets the deepest bill of the weekend. BOO Seattle returns to WAMU Theater for its fifth edition, 18+, three stages, October 30 and 31. GRiZ and Subtronics headline, fresh off launching their own Griztronics event at the Gorge, and the supporting lineup is loaded: Levity, Sara Landry, TroyBoi, Azyr, Kayzo, The Masquerade, Elderbrook, Hannah Laing, SampliFire, YDG, Ravenscoon, Joshwa, James Hype, LYNY, It’s Murph, CHYL, Clara Cuvé, Walker & Royce, Space Laces, Taiki Nulight, and many more. BOO Arizona Returns
Arizona gets its first BOO since 2019, and Insomniac is treating the revival like a big deal. BOO Arizona takes over WestWorld of Scottsdale on October 30 and 31, 18+ with a 21+ VIP tier, doors at 6, two stages dressed up as a haunted mansion.
Phase 1 is The Chainsmokers, Deorro, LEVEL UP, Restricted and Zedd, with 50-plus more names still to come. That is a wide net, mainstage pop-EDM to dubstep to hard dance, which tells you Insomniac wants this one to pull the whole Phoenix market back in a single shot. Phase 2 coming soon!

Framework x Relentless Beats: LA Comes To The Desert
Arizona is not only a BOO story that weekend. Framework, the biggest name in LA’s house and techno scene, is teaming with Relentless Beats for Relentless Beats and Framework Halloween at Rawhide in Chandler on Friday October 30, 18+. If you have ever been to Coachella’s Yuma tent, you have been to a Framework production: they program it alongside Goldenvoice, on top of running Hollywood’s Sound Nightclub and stacking the city’s calendar with the best house and techno bookings around.
Pair that with Relentless Beats, Arizona’s biggest and most established promoter, and you get a real one: LA’s house and techno machine plugged into the desert’s home team. Chris Stussy headlines, with Rossi., Marsolo and Natalia Roth. And it is not even the only option at Rawhide that night. HEX 2026 runs the same complex on October 30 and 31, so Chandler has a stacked Friday no matter which room you pick.

SoCal Club Shows
Beyond the festivals, LA’s clubs go all out for Halloween weekend, and most of these lineups land closer to the date. Keep an eye on Academy LA, Sound (Framework), Exchange LA, Avalon, and Time in Costa Mesa for one-off headliner sets and Halloween parties across October 30 and 31.
Dooms Night: Vancouver’s 26-Year Curse
For Vancouver readers, Dooms Night is your closest and best local celebration. Dooms Night is back at Pacific Coliseum on Saturday October 31, 6pm to 1am, all ages with a 19+ VIP area, run by OFF2 and Insomniac. This also marks the first year of Dooms Night hosted in partnership with Insomniac Events, a part of their expansion into Vancouver, Canada.
The Dooms Night lineup leans big room and melodic: Alesso, Timmy Trumpet, Cosmic Gate, ARMNHMR and Darren Styles, spanning progressive house, trance, melodic bass and hard dance.

So how do you actually choose? If you want scale and the full haunted-festival production, Escape in San Bernardino and BOO (Seattle or Arizona) are the heavyweights. If you want the best curated house and techno, Factory 93 in the Bay Area and Framework x Relentless Beats in Arizona are your best bets. If you want a more grown-up Halloween, skip the big festivals and catch a headline show from Chris Stussy or ANOTR. And if you are anywhere near Vancouver, Dooms Night is the easy call.
