Welcome to the Kingdom: Forbidden Kingdom 2026
In recent years, the event has moved between April, May, and June. April offered more favorable weather than in past years, with just a light sprinkle at the venue. However, that didn’t dampen our spirits; in fact, it was quite refreshing! This year featured a completely revamped layout, improved navigation, and created a more immersive atmosphere throughout the event with new art installations.
The main stage was completely different from previous years. Although we missed the dome, the new stage was truly magnificent. The towering castle design dominated the skyline, and the production was top-notch. This year was exceptional.
Day one, Wheatan showcased his high-energy bass, followed by Liquid Stranger B2B Mersiv, who delivered a standout back-to-back filled with immersive, deep-bass intensity. ending the night with everyone’s favorite closing headliner, Zeds Dead at the Forbidden Realm. Meanwhile, Xotix drove the energy into overdrive at the Crystal Spire. And Ivy Lab played into the sunset at their final set at Forbidden Kingdom after they retire this year. At the Dragon’s lair, the energy is palpable as the crowd prepares to be summoned into the darkness with SVDDEN DEATH. Rounding out a stacked day-one lineup that spans the full spectrum of bass music.

The Forbidden Realm
Day two, the highly anticipated Getter B2B Space Laces did not disappoint, followed by ATLiens & Friends had the crowd going with this powerhouse, and closing out the night with the legendary Subtronics at the Forbidden Realm. T-Pain‘s debut in dubstep at FK was a nostalgic experience with an unexpected twist, blending two worlds. followed by the mysterious Deathpact and The Masquerade, which was something you could not miss. And at the Dragon’s Nest featured additional surprise guests on Day 2, including YDG, Kompany, and Avello. Across the grounds, the festival’s larger-than-life production was on full display, with a dazzling drone show and fireworks lighting up the night sky.
Overall, the two-day event was a success, attracting a diverse crowd of headbangers who came together to celebrate our love for bass music, regardless of the weather! This year’s event exceeded all expectations. We are already looking forward to next year! Forbidden Kingdom 2027 will bring 100+ artists and performers from faraway lands across three days and five stages.
