VELD Music Festival returns to Downsview Park from July 31 to August 2, bringing Canada’s largest electronic music festival back to Toronto for the August long weekend.
The 13th edition arrives with one of the strongest electronic lineups coming to Canada this summer. Toronto already has one of the biggest dance music markets in the country, but VELD gives the city its main all-ages summer festival moment, bringing global headliners, multiple stages, official afterparties and a full weekend built around electronic music.
This year’s lineup is stacked, including Kx5, the collaborative project from Kaskade and deadmau5, Subtronics, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Levity, Crankdat, Mau P, FISHER, Galantis, ILLENIUM, Charlotte de Witte, ARTBAT, Sara Landry, Ray Volpe, SLANDER and many more.
The strength of VELD is the scale of global talent it brings to Toronto. As Canada’s largest electronic music festival, VELD gives fans a rare summer lineup that feels directly connected to the international festival circuit, pulling from main stage EDM, bass, trance, house and techno without losing the identity of a massive dance music weekend.
Kx5, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Galantis and ILLENIUM bring the festival major melodic and main stage weight, while FISHER and Mau P cover the house lane. On the heavier side, Subtronics, Levity, Crankdat, Ray Volpe and SLANDER give VELD a proper bass presence, while Charlotte de Witte, ARTBAT and Sara Landry round out the weekend with some of the strongest techno names in the world.
Across three stages at Downsview Park, including a bass stage, VELD gives fans room to move between different sounds throughout the weekend. The festival also extends beyond Downsview Park with official afterparties across INK’s Toronto venue network, including Rebel, Noir, DPRTMNT and Vertigo.
