Bleu Clair reunites with Jargen for latest single “Amani,” released on Insomniac Records
The Indonesian-born house producer and artist Bleu Clair has built a name for himself as one of the hottest commodities in dance music. Following suit with his global recognition, Bleu Clair has sealed collaborations with top-tier artists such as AC Slater, Matroda, and Martin Garrix, in addition to creating official remixes for artists like Habstrakt, and Tchami. Prior to his meteoritic rise, Bleu Clair and fellow Indonesian producer Jargen teamed up on the single “Laughing Matter,” a wonky bass house track from Bleu Clair’s 2019 EP Do My Thing.
Now, the duo reconnects to explore their respectively developed sounds through “Amani.” This moody tech house track revolves around a hypnotic vocal chant soaring over a driving groove. The energetic yet precise percussion elevates the recurring bass line. The secondary elements, such as the background arpeggiation, subtle risers/decays, and harmonic interjections, create the trance-like atmosphere of “Amani,” which gravitates the listener towards the dance floor.
“Amani” by Bleu Clair and Jargen was released Friday, September 10th, via Insomniac Records.
