On June 23 Insomniac announced their newest project Emerge Warehouse in Oakland, California. After nearly a year and a half with no traditional in-person events, Insomniac has been working hard to expand to new territories and taking advantage of the market. In October of 2020, Insomniac completed the acquisition of Club Glow with it coming iconic venues like Echostage and Soundcheck.
Glow has been a staple of dance music culture on the East Coast for over 20 years. Kalamoutsos, Founder of Glow, states “Pasquale and I were cut from the same cloth, and our visions align when it comes to dance music. I couldn’t imagine a better opportunity to continue to grow Glow, Echostage, and Soundcheck than with the team at Insomniac.” With a combined experience of over 40 years of dance music history, this collaboration will join the East and West Coasts of dance music.
Emerge will join Insomniac’s venues across the country featuring massive headliners and state of the art production. Emerge is a brand new warehouse structure being built outside of the RingCentral Coliseum. Little information is known about the capacity, or how the inside and outside of the warehouse will look like. With the debut show being only two months away anticipation and expectations are on the rise! Insomniac holds a reputation for having the best and biggest events and we expect nothing less from this warehouse.
