‘Tis the season ravers! With the holidays quickly approaching, this also means that GRiZmas is finally just weeks away. Marking the ninth year that GRiZ has put on this specially curated event, GRiZmas is an amazing way to bring friends and family together in celebration over some heavy bass and a beautiful array of lights and lasers. Returning to GRiZ’s hometown of Detroit, GRiZmas will be a 2-day event held at the Masonic Temple on December 9th and 10th.
The Masonic Temple is a venue that can accommodate 4,500 fans in a celebration that is known for unique sets riddled with unreleased material, unforgettable classics, and rare live visuals. This year, the DJ and his team have crafted a talented lineup of up-and-coming producers sure to make the celebration one to be remembered. On Friday, December 9th, he will welcome UK dubstep DJ DirtySnatcha who will perform B2B with bass producer Carbin, along with DJ Canabliss, kicking off the event with some booming bass and downright dirty dubstep. On Saturday, December 10th, the stage will be graced by the performances of dubstep diva KHIVA, and a common GRiZ collaborator Wreckno, ending the weekend with a bang. GRiZ will be delivering iconic sets both nights.
Becoming a staple of the Motor City community, GRiZ’s annual 12 Days of Grizmas charity program has raised more than $400,000 for Seven Mile, an organization offering afterschool and summer camp programming engaging local youth in musical and creative arts. Beginning on November 29th, the charity event returns for 12 days of fun filled activities for a great cause. This years programming will feature painting, karaoke, rollerskating, ice skating, yoga, a dodgeball tournament, and of course, a pair of concerts December 9th and 10th.
GRiZ will finish the remainder of the year headlining festivals like Dusk Music Festival, HiJinx, Lights All Night, and Decadence NYE, and the return of his curated Another World and Space Camp events.
