So far little is known about the details of upcoming shows and potential future stops. With that being said we can infer that based off his tweet that “beginning” at Ultra Miami will be the start of a multi-stop U.S. and/or North American Tour. As a result this tweet came as major news to fans being that it has been several years since Eric Prydz announced a full headlining tour.
What Is HOLO?
HOLO first debuted in 2018 at Braehead Arena in Glasgow, UK. This project is a variation of his live sets that includes a high production value and an immensely stimulating audiovisual experience. Throughout his career Prydz has been an artist that has operated and identified under several aliases. From Eric Prydz, to Cirez D, to Pryda, HOLO is another performance of his with a unique take.
Undoubtedly this production is unlike any other artist in the industry. What makes HOLO so special is the use of visual elements that compliment his live music. When Prydz presents his show the sets includes the use of massive multi-story holograms displayed behind the decks. With the help of his production team he portrays extraordinary immersive visuals, pictures, and videos professionally curated by digital artists. With images that correspond to the live music it is the true embodiment of spectacle. Additionally these digital displays include wildly captivating 3D elements that make his live performance an experience for fans to behold. HOLO’s production also includes the use of world class laser and light systems throughout his live performance for a stunning display.
Both fans, and fellow artists alike, remain in awe and amazement after witnessing Prydz’s HOLO show. Fellow industry tech house giants Camelphat were taken aback by his debut in Glasgow in 2018.
