“Get What You Want” (Vintage Culture remix) — Lastlings
Vintage Culture delivers a dynamic remix of “Get What You Want” by Lastlings, out now on RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records. Capitalizing on the emotionally stirring vocals, the Brazilian phenomenon transforms the original into a brooding club groover. Regarding the new remix, Lastlings say, “Amy and I are both super excited for this remix. We didn’t know what to expect when we first reached out to Vintage Culture because he’s such a heavy weight in the dance music scene. We are so pumped he said yes and were blown away with what he delivered.” Vintage Culture adds, “When I heard ‘Get What You Want’ by Lastlings, it was clear why RÜFÜS DU SOL signed them to their label, Rose Avenue. Lastlings’ great songwriting shines through.”
“3 DAYS AWAKE” — Marco Faraone and Stella Bossi
Tuscany-born, Barcelona-based Marco Faraone and Berlin DJane Stella Bossi deliver a first-time collaboration on their release of “3 DAYS AWAKE.” The track began taking form when Farone and Bossi met during their South American tours. Marco asked Stella for a top-vocal line, however, she mentioned the toll touring was taking on her Literally “awake for 3 days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, nonstop!” Well, Marco loved the phrase and a hook was born! “3 DAYS AWAKE” is swarmed with resounding kicks, brewing beats, deep acid synths, and yearning breakdowns. The simplistic yet infectious hook immediately fills the space as relentless percussion and synths stomp forward. This techno weapon is certainly for those 72-hour benders serving as a common language directed to ravers and music lovers.
Collide EP — Ravenscoon
WAKAAN label mainstay Ravenscoon returns with three track EP, Collide. The meteoritic rise of the prodigy producer has proven his dominance in the scene, and Collide represents his most aggressive tracks of the year. The EP begins with the cranial-throbbing bass of “Shake,” followed by separate collaborations with Ruvlo and VLCN. “Rated R” demolishes with its deep, wonky bassline and laser-like synth work while “Bussin” exhilarates with grimy and mind-bending sound design.
Ravenscoon shares:
“I wanted to round off 2022 by releasing three of my heaviest tunes to date – all specifically designed to smash the dance floor. Each song revolves around driving melodies, energetic 808 intros, and massive sounding bass design. Continuing my tradition of releasing an EP in December, this year’s installment seems to be the heavier spiritual successor to last year’s FUN & GAMES EP where I explored the trap & “wook bass” sound.”
“All or Nothing” — Topic and HRVY
Topic and HRVY release “All or Nothing,” an uplifting anthem of epic proportions! For this first time collaboration, the two artists deliver a magnetic single that resonates with the soul. HRVY’s pitched down vocals are complemented by evocative instrumentals and bubblin’ energy. Also, “All or Nothing” was co-written the track with A7S and Dennis Lloyd. Topic tell us, “’All Or Nothing’ is about the thoughts of doubt you can have in your mind in various types of situations in life. It ìs intended to motivate you to not give these thoughts any power and quite to literally go all or nothing!” And HRVY shares, “I couldn’t be more excited for this record to come out, I think Topic is an awesome artist, I love his production on the record and I’m honored to jump on a song with him”
