Today, Carneyval shares his new single, “Me Time,” with emerging singer/songwriter Lourdiz. Originally conceived in his LA home studio, “Me Time” captures pop escapism through its picturesque atmosphere filled with bliss. At its first inception, the track began from a radiant piano riff Carneyval composed five years ago. Now, “Me Time” glistens with California sunshine from start to finish.

On the production side of “Me Time,” Carneyval delivers a euphoric arrangement of groovy instrumentals, serene textures and impassioned melodies. For the lyrics, the talents of songwriters Lourdiz (aka Alyssa Lourdiz Cantu), Felicia Ferraro, and Victoria Zaro shine through with pristine lyrics. The feel good vibes are captured effortlessly by the talented songwriters evoking “a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway without a care in the world.”“Me Time” captures the essence of care-free mindset from rest of the world and following your bliss (from the pre-chorus: “Right now nothing matters to me/But the PCH with the Fugees”).

Carneyval reflects on the making of “Me Time”:

It feels amazing to finally release a song I’ve held on to for so many years with three of the industry’s top rising songwriters,” says Carneyval in reflecting on the making of “Me Time. “Together they‘re a powerhouse, and it only feels right that ‘Me Time’ is the first song in the next evolution of Carneyval originals.”
