Surrender – RÜFÜS DU SOL
After a three-year hiatus, RÜFÜS DU SOL has made a grand return over the past few months. The trio released stellar tracks such as “Next To Me,” “Alive,” and “On My Knees” in order to build anticipation for the release of their fourth studio album. After much patience, Surrender is finally here for fans to sink their teeth into. The album spans 11-tracks that showcase the evolution of RÜFÜS DU SOL. From intimate atmospheres to lively house beats, Surrender does not disappoint with its musical maturity. The titular track also features a soulful performance from American singer-songwriter Curtis Harding.

“My Last Song” – Felix Cartal’s After Hours Mix x Hanne Mjøen
In May 2021, Vancouver-based artist Felix Cartal teamed up with Norwegian singer-songwriter Hanne Mjøen for “My Last Song.” This track was released ahead of Felix’s latest album Expensive Sounds For Nice People. After the success of bittersweet melodic track, Felix drops his After Hours Mix of “My Last Song.” Felix puts new life into the hit track with dynamic percussion, tension building risers, sultry vocal chops, and a hard-hitting bass line. This mix showcases the versatility of the rising artist and gives fans a new twist on a favorite for the dance-filled weekend.
“Takin’ Over” – SIPPY x Nardean
On Wednesday, October 20th, the Australian bass producer SIPPY dropped a collaboration with singer Nardean that was too good to pass up. “Takin’ Over” presents dominating power with the demanding vocals of Nardean and the gritty sound design of SIPPY. The percussion runs rampant as the electrifying bass lines shake the ground underneath. “Takin’ Over” brings a seamless collaboration with these two powerful artists.
“Trick or Treat” – LUM!X x MOLOW
Halloween is creeping around the corner, and LUM!X and MOLOW drop the hard style “Trick or Treat” for fans to get in the full-swing of the season. Australian DJ and producer LUM!X and masked duo MOLOW’s collaborative release sends full spirits in the air with this goosebump-inducing, hard-hitting, festival anthem that audiences will scream into the night. Nothing like a Halloween-themed track to keep the spooky season going!
“Flip The Switch” – An-Ten-Nae
Adam Ohana, aka An-Ten-Nae debuts on WAKAAN with a gnarly down-tempo bass track titled “Flip The Switch.” The talented producer entrenched in the realm of bass music delivers a track with signatures of his sound combined with the awe of WAKAAN. “Flip the Switch” features hypnotizing melodies, crisp percussion elements, ethereal synths, and a wall of sound bass environment.
