Seismic Dance Event debut Seismic Spring: Lit Edition is happening May 19-20. As an Austin resident, Seismic has been my favorite go to house & techno event and getting to enjoy it more than once a year is a real treat. The event will be taking place at one of Austin’s best dance music venues The Concourse Project, with a warehouse feel and stacked production its sure to satisfy any stage hopper. 13 stacked artists will be playing on one stage across two days, and with a one stage setup you’ll get to experience them all! Here’s our list of 5 artists we hope to see take things to the next level.

1. Odena & Fatzo (Live)

Oden & Fatzo is a French house trio that knows how to rock it live. Their sound palette is diverse, bringing together groovy uptempo beats, chill solar minimal vibes, funky breakbeat electro, and some wicked UK Garage. They’re all about that funky, jazzy, and hip hop vibe, and their project is a wild mix of different influences that’ll blow your mind. They’ve been a personal favorite on my playlists and i can not wait to see them for the first time!

2. Cristoph

The prince of progressive house music, Cristoph’s music is a mixture of the classic progressive house music we love with his own unique modern take. Cristoph’s reputation in his genre was cemented after being the first artist signed to the king of progressive himself Eric Prydz label Pryda. With a family deeply entrenched in the art of Djing, Critoph sets high expectations on himself with his releases being meticulously curated.

3. John Summit

The artist that needs no intro. If you’re a dance music fan, no matter the genre, by now you have heard of John Summit. With back to back hits and massive performances at almost every major festival John Summit is one of the most talked about artists of the year. This will be a fun set packed with sing along of his classic records, official remixes of hit records, and new music that are destined to be played across the scene after their releases.

4. Nicole Moudaber

Nicole Moudaber, is an unstoppable force fueled by emotion, leading her own groundbreaking movement. As a sought-after DJ and Producer, she reigns over a vast empire comprising the influential record label and global party brand, MOOD, alongside a thriving radio show, a catalog bursting with incendiary techno releases, and a range of philanthropic endeavors. With an insatiable passion for the dance floor, she creates unforgettable memories that exude excitement, euphoria, and sheer power. Her accolades, including Best Radio Show and Best Minimal/Techno Track, speak to her unwavering commitment to progress and evolution, making Nicole Moudaber an indomitable presence shaping the electronic music landscape.

5. DJ Hanzel

After years of waiting DJ Hanzel aka Dillon Francis has made a return! This hilarious alter ego was created by Fancis as a good through social media clips dating back to 2016. I was lucky enough to see a 15min set of DJ Hanzel back in the day in as Dillon Frnacis shifted to his alter ego hald way through his set. I’m very excited to catch him again as a full set. Hanzel’s moto is going “one deeper” so be ready for a roller coaster of a ride!
