VEIL returns with her brand new NETHERWORLDs EP, out now on none other than WAKAAN! Following her IXXI EP, the skillful bass producer delivers an unnerving four-track offering. The ominous atmosphere persists through each layer of expression. Her enigmatic sound design engulfs her dark aesthetic. “Warning” is riddled with gritty bass-lines and crisp percussion. Next, “Bad Habits” features rap vocalist syrenn for a rousing blend of tonalities. “FUTURE NULL” adopts a fragmented drum & bass style with resounding synth-work. Finally, VEIL and HerShe collaborate on the sinister chaos  of “None Of This Is Real” to close out the EP.

VEIL shares: “NETHERWORLDS is a moment to remember all the overlap in worlds, in perspectives, in beliefs, in all. Thank you for the collaboration; 5/9 for making this story come to life visually, syrenn for her potent flow, HerShe for her beatbox and beat making skills, WAKAAN for their trust.”

VEIL poem inspired by NETHERWORLDS EP:

“How naive

to think

That our world does not overlap with others”

VEIL has risen through the ranks with an impressive haul of festival appearances such as Okeechobee, Sonic Bloom, and Shambhala, in addition to her time on WAKAAN label head Liquid Stranger’s B A L A N C E tour. Now, VEIL joins Level Up  on the Spellbound tour with upcoming performances at WAKAAN Music Festival, Lights All Night, and more!

More about VEIL

VEIL is the highly explosive, dark and mysterious byproduct of many years of creative evolution. Her former DJ project spacegeishA toured the globe, and is one of VEIL’s biggest influences, giving her the strength and confidence to take risks and set trends.

She produces her own original tracks with cutting edge soundscapes, transporting listeners to cryptic dimensions where the bass rattles heavily. Her sound is refined but spicy chaos, weaving together elements from dubstep, drum and bass, halftime, and leftfield. The polished curation of a VEIL encounter convinces her live selecting skills, original tracks, and custom visual elements — making each set its own paradigm shift.
