Dutch DJ and producer Pablo Rindt, professionally known as Maddix, has dominated the EDM scene with his signature blend of techno, trance, and main room. From his very first release, “Touching the Sky” in 2013, Maddix began turning heads. Since then, Maddix’s tracks have gained international recognition and have been played on festivals stages around the world. The now 32-year-old is signed to Revealed Recordings, and has collaborated with the label’s founder, Hardwell.

1. Maddix is a master at seamlessly blending subgenres

He is known for curating diverse and dynamic set-lists that cater to a wide range of musical tastes. Whether you’re a seasoned EDM enthusiast or a newcomer to the scene, Maddix’s performances offer something for everyone. Expect a journey through his own hits, remixes, and carefully selected tracks that will keep you dancing from start to finish.

Having released tracks in several different electronic music sub-genres, it is safe to say Maddix is a master of this trade. Combining techno with big room is not something often heard at EDM festivals, but Maddix has been perfecting his fusion of these two for over three years now. He has mastered this skill so well, that he even has his own plugin available on Revealed Recordings, called ‘Maddix Rumble‘.

2. Collaboration with some of the world’s biggest DJs

Two of my personal favorite collaborations he has done are with Hardwell. Released in 2018, their remix of ‘Bella Ciao’ has become a festival favorite. The hardstyle-sounding big room/electro house love child is a work of art, in my opinion, taking an originally anti-fascist wartime song and turning it into an EDM anthem. More recently, the duo collaborated on Hardwell’s 2023 release, “ACID”. When premiered at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year, the crowd went absolutely nuts. Maddix has also collaborated with many other electronic music legends, including Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet, and Tiësto, to name a few.

3. Electrifying Stage Presence

A live performance by Maddix is not just about the music—it’s a visual and sensory spectacle. His electrifying stage presence and connection with the audience create an atmosphere of pure energy and adrenaline. From dazzling light shows to heart-pounding drops, Maddix knows how to keep the crowd on their feet, making every moment an unforgettable experience.

If you’re considering catching Maddix on tour or stopping by one of his sets at a festival, I cannot recommend him enough. His diverse music taste and his intoxicating stage presence combined with his visuals and thundering basslines will certainly make it a show to remember.
