The legendary DJ/producer, Skrillex, kickstarts 2023 with a teaser of his first solo album after almost a decade, but it was well worth the wait! This week, he already dropped the spine-tingling track, “Rumble”, featuring Boiler Room breakout star, Fred Again and Zed’s Dead/Subronics’ “Gassed Up” vocalist, Flowdan. He generated even more excitement with his announcement of another release, “Way Back”, featuring Pink Pantheress and Trippie Redd coming out today. Skrillex’s album teaser and first two tracks contain dirty, futuristic beats with grungy hip hop influences keeping fans on edge as they’re eager to hear more.

Sonny Moore, aka Skrillex, is known for his energetic live performances and his eclectic blend of genres including dubstep, electro house, and more. His music is characterized by its heavy bass lines and complex, syncopated rhythms, and he has a reputation for constantly pushing the boundaries and experimenting with new sounds. He has won eight Grammy Awards and is widely credited with popularizing the dubstep genre in the United States.
Skrillex’s last album, “Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü,” was released in February of 2015.
