Lettuce, The Sponges – “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” (remix)

Modern funk pioneers Lettuce team up with house music maestros The Sponges for a tantalizing EDM remix “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” from Lettuce’s eighth studio album, Unify. In regards to the remix, The Sponges share:

Getting the opportunity to remix Lettuce was an absolute dream come true for us.  We have often referred to Lettuce as the greatest funk band active today, and we do not say that lightly!  We’ve seen Lettuce in concert probably half a dozen times or more, and we wanted to be able to share their vibes with our audience in a way that fit with our sound.  In short, we loved the idea of bringing Lettuce to the club.  House music fans deserve a little Lettuce too!  And thus, our remix for ‘Everything’s Gonna Be Alright’ was born.”

CHYL – “Bring It Back”

Speed House Queen, CHYL, kicks off February with her latest track, “Bring It Back.” This lightning paced-bass house hybrid sends listeners for a whirlwind. In regards to the new release, CHYL comments:

Bring It Back’ is another speed house tune I’m super excited to release to the world. When I first found this melody phrase, I immediately thought it’d be cool to turn it into a fast, fun, bouncy tune. This song reminds me of being a carefree person and appreciating the little things that make you happy in this world. It’s really cute, and I hope the listeners will enjoy it!”

Cheyenne Giles – “Let’s Rock”

Cheyenne Giles makes his Dim Mak debut in 2024 with “Let’s Rock.” This bass house track with heavy kicks, distorted and growling synths, and a bouncy bassline has been an undeniable weapon for his sets and now hits streaming platforms. On joining the esteemed label, Cheyenne says, “Steve and the Dim Mak team knew exactly what I needed, and I truly feel they understand me and my sound. I’m beyond jacked up for 2024 to release all this music I’ve been sitting on finally.

Habitatt (aka Max Styler and Spencer Howard) – “Fly With Me”

Max Styler and Spencer Howard debut their collaborative project, Habittat, on John Summit‘s Experts Only with new single! “Fly With Me” demonstrates their expansive sound with sultry vocals and syncopated synths accelerating away from expected four on the floor patterns.

Floorplan (aka Robert and Lyric Hood) – “Like Dat”

Floorplan’s “Like Dat” marks a triumphant return to Classic with its rolling house beats, accented by esoteric percussive elements and soulful vocal stabs. Robert and Lyric Hood’s divine synergy is evident, blending decades of techno wisdom with an open-minded, gospel-infused approach, making this track a testament to their unique standing in the electronic music landscape.
