Claude VonStroke’s Freaks & Beaks Remixes, featuring VNSSA, Shiba San, and more, is out now via Dirtybird. Following its 2020 release, Claude VonStroke’s fourth studio finally receives a long-time coming remix package. Each artist was hand picked by the label head himself, offering an array of Dirtybird mainstays and newcomers.
The Freaks & Beaks Remixes span an array of of artistic influences and styles. From VNSSA’s driving main room energy on “These Notes In This Order” to Nikki Nair’s meticulous production on “Flubblebuddy,” the remix package encompasses a diverse sonic experience. Shiba San and Millad collaborate on deep-end tech-house iteration of “All My People In The House” while Steve Darko takes it one step deeper in the club. Veteran melodic house producer Rodriguez Jr. leaves his mark on the Wyatt Marshall collaboration ‘Youngblood’. Frankie was brought out of retirement to remix his namesake track ‘Frankie Goes To Hollywood’.
