From curating special events like DeadRocks to headlining the hottest festivals, they have supplanted their place in the electronic hall of fame. In 2016, Zeds Dead established their record label, DeadBeats, which allowed them to convey their interests to a dedicated fan base by “serving as a platform for promoting the next generation of forward thinking producers.” Not only have the DeadBeats artists measured up to their expectations, they have made their own individual marks in the EDM community, making the DeadBeats label a force to be reckoned with. From heavy dubstep hitters like Mersiv, DirtMonkey, and Chee to the midtempo elites such as 1788-L and DNMO, the lineup is packed with exciting performances sure to please the masses.
4. New Releases
Having released a plethora of new music, the DeadBeats crew is sure to incorporate the acclaimed tracks in their specialized setlists. Here are a few to look forward to: Zeds Dead’s single “I Took A Ride,” a track combining a soothing melody with a mythical overtone to keep any vibe alive. Off of his Speed Of Lights EP, DNMO’s “Bright Lights” is a piece that has emotional vocals that escalate to an exhilarating drop of high tempo drums and bass. A collaboration between Mersiv and SuperAve., the single “How I Step” is a dubstep fan’s dream, with wonky bass and intense drops riddled throughout, it is a track sure to get headbangers moving!

With an extreme following growing by the year, the DeadBeats have managed to develop quite an army of music enthusiasts. Individuals that love the adrenalin fueled by the music, but also seem to selflessly partake throughout the show. With each tour that is arranged, the visual display that is put into each show by DeadBeats and their crew is nothing short of a masterpiece. Incorporating trippy illusions with a complex array of lighting and lasers, an optic fantasy illuminates the venue for each attendee to appreciate.
