Top Artists at Seismic
This Grammy-nominated duo will be at Seismic Sunday night. Moving freely between tech, deep, and progressive house, CamelPhat will put you in a dream state. Whether you’re closing your eyes & vibing or getting lost in their spacey visuals, you have to check them out.
Australian DJ and house music producer, Hayden James, started DJing at the age of 15. If you like Rufus Du Sol, What So Not, and/or ODESZA, you must catch Hayden James’ set at Seismic the final night. Most known for his popular single, “Something About You,” his deep house-blended music will have you in your feels on the dance floor.
Originally from the trailblazing London indie band, The xx, Jamie xx is a visionary beatmaker. He produces a subtle blend of indie, R&B, and dance music. He remixed tracks from artists such as Adele, Florence + the Machine, and Gil Scott-Heron and produced “Take Care” with Drake & Rihanna, worked on the remixes of Radiohead’s “Bloom,” and co-produced Alicia Keys’ “When It’s All Over” for her Girl on Fire album. Bounce to his music as he’ll be performing at Seismic on day two.
Born & raised in Dallas, the Texas DJ creates dark, introspective techno beats. He carries an abstract electro sound and experiments with IDM (intelligent dance music), but generally remains club-friendly. He’s definitely a top act at Seismic you have to see.
Get ready to shuffle at Joel Corry’s set. He incorporates big room dance with classic house, creating perfect songs to be played on the radio or at the club. Updating the piano chords and organ stabs of ‘90s dance pop with 21st-century production, his performance will be a party for everyone.
