Time for some good news bad news. Bad news is all tickets for the highly anticipated After Hours tour are being refunded. The good news is the tour will now feature a bigger production setup at a stadium level. Over 1 million ticket holders across seven continents will receive refunds. The Weeknd’s fans are outraged as many ticket holders have been holding onto their tickets for over two years, turning down refund options at the peak of the pandemic with hopes of seeing their favorite artist live soon.
Previous ticket holders will have first dibs on the opportunity to buy tickets for the upcoming After Hours till Dawn stadium tour commencing summer 2022. Many are not happy with this strategy as tickets may be more costly for the same seats and no one is happy at the thought of going through Ticketmaster’s online lines. The hype around The Weeknd has not slowed down since the release of his After Hours album in 2020. This week the hype will be bigger than ever with the release of the The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia collaboration Moth To A Flame.
