Sully releases new melody-driven single “Deeper,” featuring han.irl<3, via WAKAAN.

Following his collaborative release “King Kong” alongside Dirt Monkey, Sully returns to WAKAAN with a brand new single, “Deeper,” featuring han.irl<3. In this invigorating release, Sully expands his diverse discography with a noteworthy emotive display of his melodic songwriting. Amongst the impassioned elements and sirenic vocals, SULLY integrates animated flow leading towards the saturated synthesizers and riveting underlying basslines. Another key element comes with a short drum and bass variation delaying the impactful final drop. Sully’s artistry continues to amaze and we can’t wait to see what comes in this next chapter.

Sully shares his thoughts on the new release:

 ​​”‘Deeper’ has been an ongoing project for about four years now and, to this day, is still my favorite track I’ve ever worked on. It’s gone through so many revisions over the years and there were many times when I felt like I lost sight of what the end result should sound like. But I always knew this song was special to me and I couldn’t be happier that I saw it through. ‘Deeper’ showcases what the future sounds like from the Sully project – while I’ll always be passionate for experimental sound design and unique rhythms – I have always had a DEEPER passion for melody and songwriting. I couldn’t be more excited to start this new chapter of my musical journey with the community and I think ‘Deeper’ is the perfect segue into this new world.”

While continuously delivering musically rich releases, Sully continues to promote his captivating live performances, including sets throughout this summer at festivals such as Bang Bang, Global Dance Festival, Electric Zoo, and many more! As a producer with seemingly no bounds, his wide-ranging sound will pull in audiences from around the music community.

“Sully” is the brainchild and nickname of Detroit-based producer, Christopher Sullivant. Weaving guttural sound design and intricate textures into wide melodic soundscapes, Sully has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with.

After refining his production skills from the highly acclaimed Icon Collective, Sully first stepped into the electronic music scene in March of 2019. With a series of prolific self-releases such as “Frequency Shift” and “Quake” under his belt, Sully made his WAKAAN debut in late 2019, where he continues to call home for his intoxicating sound.
