Picture this: a stage bathed in pulsating lights, resembling the vibrant hues of distant galaxies, with LED panels creating an immersive backdrop that transports attendees to another dimension. Coupled with state-of-the-art sound systems designed to resonate through the soul, Coachella’s newest stage will be a sanctuary for electronic music enthusiasts. Inspired by the celestial phenomenon it’s named after, ‘Quasar’ is set to revolutionize the EDM scene at Coachella and elevate the festival-goers’ experience both visually and sonically.

Nestled amidst the majestic desert landscape that has become synonymous with Coachella, Quasar will be debuted on both weekends of Coachella next month, from April 12-14 and April 19-21. The stage will feature extended 3+ hour DJ sets and exclusive B2B performances from artists like Michael Bibi, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Diplo x Mau P.

The rest of Coachella’s 2024 lineup is packed with other electronic music stars like DJ Snake, Gesaffelstein, Justice, Peggy Gou, Steve Angello, and more, who will play in the festival’s infamous Yuma Tent. Other Headliners of this year’s festival include Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, No Doubt, and Tyler, The Creator.

Coachella’s decision to introduce Quasar reflects the growing influence of electronic music within the festival scene. With its pulsating beats and infectious energy, electronic music has become a cultural phenomenon, attracting a diverse array of fans in Indio who seek to lose themselves in its hypnotic rhythms.
