Originally released in May, “Looking At Your Pager” by KH receives the Chris Lake treatment in his new remix! The original has received an onslaught for support since its release earlier this year. From artists such as Fred again.., Skrillex, Floating Points, Peggy Go adding the fiery track to their sets, and Solomun and Clipz offering up remixes of their own, “Looking At Your Pager” has proven a valiant return for Four Tet’s KH moniker.

Now, British electronic music artist Chris Lake takes a stab at one of the most iconic electronic tracks of the year. First, the noticeable tempo change from 140 to 126 bpm opens the door to more surprises along the way. With his signature and pristine production, Lake ventures deeper and darker than the original. Next, the raucous and percussive builds generate unprecedented energy before Lake drops an absolute masterful drop. The buoyant bass line grooves forward adorned  with distorted vocals and syncopated counter-melodies.

Regarding the remix, Chris Lake shares:

I was really excited when Four Tet asked me to remix this track. I love his creativity and vision as an artist. He’s very inspiring. I ended up delivering this 3 months late as it took me ages to get this sounding how I wanted, but I got there in the end and love how it turned out. It absolutely slams!”
