Anamē invite listeners on a journey with “Anywhere (Road Trippin’),” the first single from their forthcoming debut album on Anjunabeats. Here, The Scandinavian duo comprised of Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad described this new track as their take on “the electronic love song of the summer.” Now, the band begins to shed light on their new concept and yet-to-be-named album.
Anamē craft a beautifully intricate soundscape in “Anywhere (Road Trippin’).” The emotionally stirring vocal line soars over the harmonious atmosphere of lush pads, vibrant synth melodies, and subtle yet pulsating beats. The lyrics hold on to the hearts of listeners with: “You can take me anywhere, just as long as you’re with me.”
In regards to the new release, Marcus shares:
“This record glues together what we are about. The first time Thomas sent me the ‘Anywhere’ vocal, I was like, wow. It just hits in the heart. And it very heavily emphasizes songwriting, which is key to us. We don’t just want to make club records. We want to make music that tells a story.”

Following the release of “Anywhere (Road Trippin’),” the duo joins Above & Beyond at their Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge on July 21-23.
