This marks the first-ever VOYDOME event, a curated takeover by SVDDEN DEATH, a weekend that fans of heavy dubstep have been looking forward to since its November announcement.
SVDDEN DEATH: The Man Behind the Madness
Danny Howland, better known as SVDDEN DEATH, has become one of the most dominant forces in modern dubstep. The Bay Area native has carved out his sinister sound, blending elements of riddim, tearout dubstep, and bass-heavy madness. From dropping his first EP on Never Say Die: Black Label to selling out iconic venues like Red Rocks and the Hollywood Palladium, SVDDEN DEATH continues to push the limits of bass music.
His alter ego, VOYD, has taken the scene by storm with its eerie, minimal dubstep and theatrical performances. Fans have witnessed legendary moments like the first live drop of Behemoth and his gravity-defying performance at the Hollywood Palladium. Now, with VOYDOME, SVDDEN DEATH is bringing his vision to life in a way that’s never been seen before.
The VOYDOME Experience
Dubbed “Eye of the Deceiver”, VOYDOME is set to be a full-throttle, immersive experience that brings to life SVDDEN DEATH’S alter ego in a new light. Taking place over two nights, the event kicks off on Friday, March 14, with SVDDEN DEATH b2b MARAUDA, along with sets from Of The Trees: Moonglade, PhaseOne, Codd b2b Pyke, Mad Dubz b2b Automhate, Digitist b2b Vanfleet, and Blind Equation. Then, on Saturday, March 15, the main event unfolds with VOYD taking center stage, joined by a stacked lineup featuring MARAUDA, Kill Safari (Kill The Noise & Bro Safari), YVM3, NIMDA, The Stooges (HAMRO, BLVNKSPVCE & SQISHI), and Bejalvin. With a lineup this heavy, fans are in for two nights of the best type of chaos, featuring haunting visuals, guttural bass, and an atmosphere unlike anything else.
