Spring Awakening Autumn Equinox took place October 2nd & 3rd at Addams/Medill Park in Chicago, Illinois. With a massive diverse lineup, day one saw a headlining set from Excision with support from AC Slater, Bear Grillz, Chris Lorenzo, Dion Timmer, Diplo, Galantis, Kaivon, Kayzo, Madeon, and Zomboy to name a few. Day two saw a headlining set from Martin Garrix with support from Adventure Club b2b Wooli, Atliens, Dillon Francis, Don Diablo, Valentino Khan b2b 4B, Ray Volpe, RL Grime b2b Baauer, And Sidepiece plus many more!
The festival nearly joined the lineup of fall festivals crushed by rain as the festival was forced to evacuate following severe weather moving into the area. Attendees were told to evacuate the grounds and seek shelter. The festival was able to open its doors again at 6:45pm with music starting at 7pm. Unfortunately many sets were forced to cancel with no rescheduling times awavilable as the event ends at an early 10pm closing call.
