A DECADE in the Pools
I want to begin this story with a huge congratulations to Splash House on 10 years under the sun and one hurricane. This was my first splash and it won’t be the last. Splash House, a renowned music and pool festival, has been consistently delivering unforgettable experiences for music enthusiasts and partygoers alike. The year 2023 was no exception, as attendees from all over gathered to immerse themselves in a weekend of electrifying music, vibrant atmosphere, and endless fun. With its unique blend of music, camaraderie, and picturesque setting, Splash House 2023 undoubtedly provided an exhilarating and memorable experience for everyone involved.
My girlfriends and I set off to Palm Springs, anxious, excited and ready to be feral for a weekend of unforgettable memories. We arrived at the convention center, picked up our wristbands, arrived at our hotel; the Renaissance and we said hi to our fellow neighbors for the weekend ahead.

One of the prime reasons for the resounding success of Splash House 2023 was its exceptional musical lineup. The festival featured an eclectic mix of world-class DJs and artists from various genres, ensuring that there was something for everyone’s musical tastes. From pulsating electronic beats to soul-soothing melodies, attendees were treated to a diverse range of performances that kept them dancing from dawn till dusk. A couple sets stood out the most. One of our favorites being Matroda; who performed a wild sunset performance at Margaritaville. With his unique tech house beats, everyone was literally dancing and splashing in the pool until the very end of the night. Another set we can not get over is the day party thrown at Margaritaville with the one and only duo; Shipwreck! Every single person in our group voted this set as their number one fav. The combination of a day party mixed with their party hits made the vibes 100% immaculate.
Hotels are where the party begins! Every room had its own unique charm, some even felt like their own speakeasies. Even after all the sets were over, we always knew a hotel room had a poppin party we could crash into. But the real excitement was at the AFTERS! After-hour events at the Air Space Museum further strengthened this sense of camaraderie. From the one and only king, Chris Lake to the other house king, Channel Tres, everyone still had the energy to keep the party going thanks to these artists. Showcasing the afters at the Air Space Museum brought an even more electric feel, being able to see the colorful lit up airplanes was mesmerizing.

The interplay of lights and colors added an extra dimension to the performances, creating an otherworldly ambiance that enhanced the overall experience. The cooling oasis of the pool itself provided respite from the desert heat, allowing attendees to revel in the water while enjoying the beats. The juxtaposition of music, water, and visual aesthetics created a multi-faceted experience that engaged the senses in ways that went beyond just listening to music.
