Austin-based DJ and producer Remedy debuts with his vibrant single, “Mango Amar.” While avidly skilled behind the decks at Higher Ground night club in Austin, Texas, the rising artist ventures into a new arena with his original track. “Mango Amar” evokes an essence of tropical and Afro-house with its lingering yet stimulating introduction. The flourishing atmosphere drops from beneath the infectious chant before rising towards the elated texture of bustling percussion, plucky synth-work, and assorted color wheel of sound. “Mango Amar” serves as an exceptional introduction into the developing and worldly sound of Remedy.

After spending the first 18 years of his life in Chicago, Remedy found his home in Austin, Texas, where he currently holds a residency at one of the city’s top venues, Higher Ground. Although not bound by genres, he cultivates his musical inspiration from world music, particularly tribal and melodic techno.
