It’s been nearly a decade since bass last rumbled the Rockies, but the drought is finally over. Of The Trees just announced he’s curating a new, fully immersive concert experience in Telluride Town Park this August 22–23, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be more than just a show — it’s a journey.
You might’ve missed the cryptic breadcrumb trail he left for fans last week: a riddle, “We have legs but no flesh or bone, we have different colors of our own,” that left the community buzzing for more. The clue? A pair of pants… with the coordinates 37.93437, -107.80720 stitched in. Spoiler… it points right to Telluride.
Now, the mystery has been decoded, and bass lovers are booking PTO and brushing off their tents.
“This is the beginning of realizing the dream I’ve always had. A place where nature and music are intertwined.” – Tyler Coombs, aka Of The Trees

So, Why Telluride?
Have you seen this place? Nestled in the San Juans with 360-degree views of alpine majesty, Telluride is a perfect music escape. The last electronic music festival in Telluride was Pretty Lights nearly 10 years ago, and it has become a fabled event space in festival lore. Hosted in one of the last great adventure destinations in the American Frontier, something special is on the horizon — a weekend this community won’t forget.
What to Expect
While the full lineup and ticket details are still under wraps, the announcement confirms camping, late-night parties curated by local artists, and access to some of the most stunning nature in North America. Imagine: Listening & flowing to sub-bass during the day, then vibing under the stars at night.
Let’s not forget: Of The Trees has been on a serious hot streak. From collabs with Curren$y and John Summit, to back-to-back sold-out Red Rocks shows this fall, to the Memory Palace label’s Moonglade Tour (featuring Opiuo, Detox Unit, and EAZYBAKED), OTC is creating magic, and Telluride is the destination.
About Of The Trees
The Denver-based producer and visual artist has long operated in that dreamy intersection of deep bass and visual storytelling. Whether it’s the frostbitten atmospheres of “Windhorse” or the lush complexity of “Spanish Moss,” Tyler Coombs (aka Of The Trees) has a catalog that reads like a sonic nature documentary with equal parts trippy and transcendent. If you’ve ever seen his live show, you know it’s a creative and sensory experience.
