“With ‘Let Me Be,’ I tried to experiment a lot with my sound. I wanted to create something new and fresh, while still remaining true to what I usually make. I wanted this track to be even more groovy than my usual stuff, so I decided to just play around with different swings and kick grooves until I found something that I really liked. All the melodic stuff around it just happened afterwards.”
