STAGE HOPPERS’ FRIDAY PICKS – November 5th

Fellow Stage Hoppers, we can’t believe there’s only 2 months left of 2021! As festivals seem to back in true form and incredible music continues to be released, 2022 is looking bright for the electronic dance music community. Let’s wrap up this first week of November with this week’s Friday Picks!

“The Motto” – Tiesto x Ava Max

The legendary artist Tiesto continues to churn out hits with his latest addition, “The Motto” alongside Ava Max. The collaborative duo deliver a more pop-centric track for this party anthem, but with a taste of that EDM quality. The never-failing production of Tiesto combines nicely with the enticing vocals of Ava Max. “The Motto” becomes the third single released from Tiesto’s upcoming album.

“Watch That Tongue” – Cloverdale

Cloverdale continues to deliver his High Octane Tech House with latest track “Watch That Tongue.” The rising Canadian artist remains as one to watch at the forefront of the future of house music. With this latest release, Cloverdale pushes the energy with a hypnotic bass-line that fills the sound field. With the supplemental features of crisp percussion, tension building synths, and a dominant vocal, there’s no way to fight the urge to get up and dance the night away to this fresh new track. 

“Closer” – Andrew Rayel x Takis x Zagata

The talented and intricate artist Andrew Rayel collaborates with Canadian artist Takis for latest release “Closer” featuring Zagata. The delicate dance track provides a soothing atmosphere for the touching vocals to glide over effortlessly. “Closer” moves forward with the ever so gentle bass-line, accompanied by elegant percussion and melodic guitar licks. A truly mesmerizing track for those late nights of relaxation.

“Jack Machine” – Dombresky x Noizu

Following their B2B set at EDC Las Vegas, Dombresky and Noizu release the old-school rave inspired “Jack Machine. This release comes in anticipation of their joint Revival EP, which will drop next week. The lively house record features a bouncy and hardy bass-line accompanied by electrifying drums, poignant synths, and a vocal loop to command the crowd.  

Have You No Burden – Shadient

The long awaited debut album of Shadient has finally arrived for the masses. The London-artist delivers a sense of freshness to the experimental bass music community with awe-inducing album Have You No Burden. The 13-track album features previously released tracks such as “Roadworks,” “Ego Insaniac,” “Crash” featuring fkynsyd and Catnapp, and “Dancing Alone.” Shadient adds 11 more tracks that encapsulate the elegant melodics and heavy bass that revolve around his signature sound.

“Whenever Your’e Around” – Party Favor

As one of the most established names in electronic dance music, Party Favor does not disappoint with his highly technical productions and energetic tracks. Party Favor continues to diversify his repertoire with his latest release “Whenever You’re Around.” The low-frequency bass driven track features elements of house, pop, and hip-hop centered around a dark tone. The ethereal vocals, active bass, and precise production qualities make this a stellar track for Party Favor.
