The heaviest New Year’s Eve party in the Midwest is back with a stacked lineup of the top bass DJs on the scene! With the Lake Country Fairgrounds as a new blank-canvas venue, Radiance NYE is bringing in insane production to transform the building into a New Year’s, bass-filled playground. Located half-way between Chicago and Milwaukee, the Lake County Fairgrounds of Gray’s Lake, IL is just a few short miles from over 8,000 hotel rooms and under an hour drive from the two Midwest cities. Taking place December 30th and 31st, here’s what to expect from the exciting festival!
Lineup
The two-day New Year’s Eve spectacular has enlisted a lineup of producers brimming with talent. From arising bass artists to premier headliners, this lineup is sure to set the Midwest on fire, bringing the year to a close in an unforgettable fashion.
Friday night will consist of bass heavy performances, as the support features appearances by producers VEIL, LEVEL UP, TRUTH, and Of The Trees. Headlining night one will be the Philadelphia native Subtronics, a DJ and electronic producer who has gained a massive following for his unique and energetic style. Known for his hard-hitting bass music, Subtronics’ set should encompass a variety of subgenres including dubstep, trap, and riddim for fans to dance along to throughout the wild night.
Saturday night will continue the celebration as the night before, with hardstyle sets and copious amounts of bass. The lineup consists of appearances by electronic producers MESO, Daily Bread, and Rusko. Headlining night two will be Swedish DJ and producer Liquid Stranger of the WAKAAN label. Known for his diverse and experimental approach to music, his set is expected to blend elements of multiple genres including dubstep, drum and bass, and techno, adding a unique sound for festival goers to experience.
Sound Production
Radiance NYE has arranged for a weekend filled with prestigious production, guaranteeing a sound transformation of the venue into a bass-filled playground. Appointing PK Sound to handle the event, the company boasts 220,000 watts of sound incorporated in their stage setup, ensuring enough bass to rattle the floor as attendees headbang to their favorite sets. Whether you’re on the rail or vibing in the back of the venue, low pitched tones will erupt from the speakers and reverberate throughout for all to enjoy, making Radiance NYE the must-attend event to ring in the new year.
