As the youngest member of the Dirtybird family, Justin has garnered support from industry giants like Claude VonStroke, Jamie Jones, Disclosure, Tiga, and George Fitzgerald. Earlier this year, Justin Jay shook up the electronic scene with his bass EP, Wait For the Drop, released on March 8th under Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats label. This EP, inspired by his time in Denver, Colorado, and its vibrant bass music scene, includes tracks played out by Subtronics, John Summit, and Levity. The four-track EP features a diverse range of styles, including collaborations with Bayer and Waits, and remixes by emerging artists like Y3llo from Yangon, Myanmar. This release signifies Justin’s growing interest and influence in the dubstep world after firmly establishing himself in house and techno.
