Deep Tropics is Nashville, Tennessee’s premier electronic music festival and “most sustainable” party in the United States. The fourth iteration of this eclectic boutique festival returns to Music City on August 26 & 27, 2022. What better way to wrap up summer 2022 for those in the area!
Deep Tropics is more than just a music festival. Transforming Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park in Germantown neighborhood, the two day festival offers a carefully curated experience of music, art and style! The festival runs from 3:00 to 11:00 pm each day, with an assortment of pre-parties, day-time events, workshops, and countless opportunities to connect throughout the weekend. And, if you find yourself in need of a late-night fix, multiple off-site afterparty options catering to different musical subgenres will occur immediately following the main event.
The vision of Deep Tropics comes to life via Full Circle Presents, with the creative site and stage design led by art director, Aaron Martin. The forward-thinking team leaves no stone unturned in-terms of innovation, with their intricately crafted stages situated amongst the beautiful downtown skyline backdrop. Attendees will experience three stages across the Deep Tropics environment. Venture into “Meru,” the massive, ancient temple inspired stage will all walks of house music. The brand new “Lotus” stage will unleash the untamable power of bass music. Lastly, “Congo Soundsystem” will be home to local artists that will surely turn it out.
As for the talent, Deep Tropics has carefully selected an eclectic lineup of artists ready to set fire for the weekend. Featuring artists you typically won’t find performing in the Southeast region, the lineup includes sets from Tchami, Vintage Culture, Snakehips, Ben Böhmer, LSDREAM, Emancipator, Wax Motif, TSHA, Ivy Lab and many more! The night sky will be lit up by intricate lasers, choreographed LED, moving lights, and art installations that will enhance the impeccable music for the weekend. A festival you don’t want to miss out on! Who will be joining me at Deep Tropics 2022?

Deep Tropics Mission
“Our mission is to be the greenest festival in the United States. We are a climate positive event which simply means we create more energy than we use. These efforts are fueled by our non-profit organization Deep Culture, Inc which exists to curate experiences that activate transformation of self, community, and planet. In 2021, 79% of festival waste was prevented from entering the landfill. The proceeds from Green Disco Eco-Bands allowed us to plant 59,000+ trees in Kenya and help offset our carbon footprint. Many of Deep Tropics’ art projects are created from sustainable materials such as hempcrete & aircrete. Additionally, Deep Tropics has a zero waste initiative to ensure everything is either recyclable, compostable, or re-usable. Regenerative design is at the forefront of every aspect of the festival.”
