Fellow Stage Hoppers, we are back with the Best Releases of the Week! With countless singles, EPs, and albums released each week, it is no easy task to narrow down the choices. But, as always, I’m here to bring you some of my favorite releases, spanning an array of genres. Let’s dive in, and don’t forget to leave a comment on your favorite release from this week!

Subtronics x Phantogram — “Black Out Days” (Subtronics Remix)

Todays, Subtronics releases his official remix of Phantogram‘s “Black Out Days.” The electrifying fusion of styles sets the backdrop of a boisterous track. With Subtronics’ signature bass-heavy sound and Phantogram’s haunting vocals, the result is a masterful manipulation of the original elements with the distinctive flair. And, the combination of dubstep, drum n’ bass, and trap generates a balanced atmosphere of harmonious yet robust rhythms propelling the energy forward underneath the atmospheric vocals.

MAURADA — REALM OF THE DAMNED EP

MARAUDA unleashes a sonic onslaught with his new EP REALM OF THE DAMNED. The two track offering is a relentless journey through dark and sinister realms. From the bone-crushing drop to the haunting synths, MAURAUDA showcases his meticulous craft. REALM OF THE DAMNED is just another endeavor by MARAUDA that cements his reputation as a powerful force in the hard-hitting dubstep and bass music scene.

ARTBAT x Another Life — “Breathe In”

ARTBAT releases their latest creation, “Breathe In,” with Another Life. The bold collaboration is an introspective journey with nostalgic ’80s synths intertwined with a modern soundscape. Out now via ARTBAT’s imprint UPPERGROUND, “Breathe In” reaches through the emotional texture, destined to hit the hearts of electronic dance music lovers. In regards to the new releases, ARTBAT shares,“This captivating track is an uplifting reminder to pause, take a deep breath, and fully appreciate the world around us.”

sfam — neutral ground EP

Today, sfam release their thrilling neutral ground EP, out now via HypnoVizion. Through the four tracks, the New Orleans-based duo delve into innovative and dissentient soundscapes, perfect for Rezz‘s label. From the hypnotizing sound design of  “lezdewit” to the tantalizing and devastating drops of “unhinged,” sfam unleashed havoc across the EP. Regarding the EP, sfam tells us, “ Our goal is to always write music that doesn’t sound like anyone else. We’re very happy to have found a home for it with such a genuine and dope label. So much love to Rezz and team for believing in us.”

Peggy Gou — “(It Goes Like) Nanana”

The internationally renowned DJ and producer Peggy Gou releases her anticipated summer anthem “(It Goes Like) Nanana.” I don’t know about you, but this track has been all over my Tik Tok. From its infectious and uplifting vocals to the euphoric summer vibes, “(It Goes Like) Nanana” is certain to elevate dance-floors across the world. 

Kevin Knapp x Andreas Henneverg — “Funky Enough”

This charismatic house single titled “Funky Enough” comes from Kevin Knapp and Andreas Henneberg. An absolute earworm from the immediate listen. The first-time collaborative producers and long time friends capture the essence of Berlin’s  distinctive house music.And, the groovy intro paired with distorted bass-lines and enticing vocals pull the listener along for the journey. Out now via Dirtybird Records, “Funky Enough” is set to captivate dance floors across the world.
