Rising star in the underground bass scene, ONHELL, is back with his most adventurous release yet. His latest EP, juntos, is set to drop on September 13th via Zeds Dead’s renowned Deadbeats label, and it’s already creating buzz. The four-track EP showcases ONHELL’s mission to fuse global sounds with heavy bass, pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

A Sonic Journey Like No Other

ONHELL, whose name is pronounced like the Spanish word for “angel,” is known for his boundary-breaking approach to music. Self-described as “genre-fluid” and “bisexual,” ONHELL aims to bring diversity not only to his sound but also to the experiences he creates through his music and parties.

“I like a little bit of everything: grime, bass, breaks, jungle, dubstep, and club music. Listening to just one genre for an entire set is boring,” ONHELL explains. “My goal is to bring humans together and expose them to things they might not know they liked, whether it’s music, sexuality, art, or just a new experience.”

juntos EP: A Fusion of World Music and Bass

The juntos EP kicks off with “Dubstep Is For Kids,” a playful yet mysterious track featuring childlike voices mimicking farm animal sounds, transporting listeners to a world of nostalgic whimsy. From there, the EP ventures into Brazilian rhythms with “FOGE,” a collaboration with Brazilian producer KARAN! that melds funk breakbeat patterns with dubstep.

The third track, “Grime On Steroids,” teams ONHELL with Chef Boyarbeatz for a gritty mash-up of grime and grunge. The EP concludes with “Floating On Louds 2,” a collaboration with Mad Zach, which introduces a surreal witch house vibe layered with gritty basslines. Each track demonstrates ONHELL’s ability to effortlessly blend diverse genres, setting a new bar for creativity in underground bass music.

With releases on major labels like Deadbeats, 1985, and Naafi, ONHELL has solidified his place in the global bass scene.
