What’s up, Stage Hoppers? In just the first month of 2025, we have got some incredible releases from artists like…. and more! Let’s take a look at some of my favorite releases from this past month that are “must add” to your Spotify Playlists. Be sure to check out our Stage Hoppers Weekly Updated Playlists: House Cat and BASSTOPIA!

“Push The Tempo” – Odd Mob Remix

Odd Mob has a certain knack from transforming drum n’ bass hits to tech house heaters and I will never be tired of it! “Push The Tempo,” originally by Sub Focus and Katy B, features Odd Mob’s signature boisterous bass, powerful synthwork, and unrelenting energy. Now, all that’s left is to hear this one live!

Jessica Audiffred. SampliFire – “Around ” The World (La La La)

Jessica Audiffred and SampliFire deliver a new rendition of ATC’s classic hit as the Mexican artist continues to roll out releases from her upcoming debut album. Here, the two dubstep producers intertwine the playful and uplifting energy of the original with ground-shaking dubstep. Instantly, recognizable yet one for the head bangers.

AYYBO – “Demon Time”

AYYBO served up such a catchy tune with this one. The effortless yet groovy vocal sample captures the laidback energy while the deep, bouncy bassline reverberates through the atmosphere. In “Demon Time,” I love the subtleties in filters on the bassline that evolve throughout the track, keeping you engaged throughout. An instant add to the playlist that has been on non-stop repeat.

IMANU, Rhode – “All Too Late”

IMANU teams up with vocalist RHODE for “All Too Late,” as IMANU’s upcoming EP gets set for release. This latest track is a intricate production of drum and bass, neurobass, and wave elements, creating an atmospheric journey all pulled together by the haunting vocals.

ADXRE – “Jackpot”

Detroit-born and San Francisco-based producer ADXRE creates vibrant tunes across diverse influences. His latest release is a true club heater. With its pressing vocals, pulsating bassline, and unrelenting energy, this one is sure to set the dancefloor ablaze.

Zeds Dead – “One Of These Mornings”

With their first release of 2025, Zeds Dead drop one of their most anticipated released. The tranquil atmosphere of soaring vocals and delicate piano chords creates a shimmering tone, all before their bass-driven sound emerges in a flurry of deep and fluttering synth work.

Damon Pirko, Jessy Covets – “Breathe”

Damon Pirko collaborates with Jessy Covets for a powerful and dynamic production, “Breathe.” Covets’ impactful vocal performance showcases her magnetic energy while Damon Pirko crafts a serene progressive house atmosphere.

KTRL – “Jinzo”

KTRL’s new release “Jinzo” is a haunting introduction to the upcoming EP of the same title. Following a minimalistic approach, KTRL crafts a dark and wobbling bass track that is riddled with anxious anticipation.

Black V Neck – ” Check My Brain

Referencing their 2019 Dirtybird-released Sex, Drugs, Alcohol, “Check My Brain” is a modern approach to Black V Neck’s eccentric sound. The track snakes its way through tech-heavy builds and deep house breaks, boasting all the trademarks of a Dirtybird classic with its bombastic energy and stimulating sound design.

Jade Cicada – Lunar Fade EP

Jade Cicada starts off 2025 with possibly my favorite bass music release of the month! Read more here.
