Following the success of Tomorrowland Winter last week in Alpe D’Huez, France, it has been confirmed that the famous electronic festival will bring its magic to Bangkok in 2026.
This announcement comes from a recent press conference, where Thai government spokesman Chai Wacharonke stated that Thailand will be the first ASEAN nation to host the world-renowned Belgium festival. In hopes of promoting the country’s economy, Wacharonke stated that hosting international music festivals like Tomorrowland is a part of the government’s policy to promote the creative industry and establish Thailand as a global festival hub, as well as a tourist vacation destination. He also added that Thai Prime Minister Thavisin has discussed hosting other popular global events from entities like Formula One Group, Formula E, and Art Basel.
While Tomorrowland has yet to confirm its plans for a festival in Thailand, it’s likely to follow the precedent of other Tomorrowland realm events, including Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland Brazil, and TomorrowWorld in the U.S., last held in Georgia in 2015.
