Dallas is about to get a major upgrade in its music and entertainment scene with the grand opening of SILO Dallas, a brand-new, multi-use venue right in the heart of the Design District. Spearheaded by top live music promoter Donnie Estopinal (the brains behind festivals like Lights All Night and Ubbi Dubbi) and local entrepreneur Patrick Tetrick, this state-of-the-art space is about to bring world-class artists and events to the city.
The buzz has been building, and the wait is almost over. Tiësto kicks off the grand opening next week with two shows on September 19 and 20. And that’s just the beginning—Sasha & John Digweed, Anjunabeats, and more are on deck for the fall.
From Historic Site to Premier Event Location
SILO Dallas has been in the works for three years, transforming a historic 1959 grain storage facility into a cutting-edge venue that holds up to 3,145 people. Picture this: 40-foot ceilings, 30,000 square feet of space, and 100,000 watts of sound from a killer D&B sound system. The dance floor is engineered for that perfect bass thump, while the lighting and visuals are designed to blow your mind.
The venue’s unique design combines modern tech with vintage vibes—imagine dancing in an industrial space with insane acoustics, thanks to tech used at the Winspear Opera House. The space is totally versatile too, able to host everything from massive shows to intimate art installations.
Elevating Dallas’ Music Scene
This venue isn’t just about putting on incredible shows; it’s also going to be a major boost for the local community and economy. Donnie Estopinal, a Dallas music scene legend, has brought us festivals like Shaq’s Bass All-Stars Festival and So What?!, and now he’s giving the city a venue that EDM fans can call home.
We’ve always had a passionate fan base that’s hungry for more,” Estopinal said. “SILO is the place we’ve been missing in Dallas—a space we can control and fill with events that our community wants.”
Epic Talent: Who’s Bringing The Heat?
With Tiësto headlining opening weekend, SILO Dallas is starting strong. Sasha & John Digweed follow up on September 28, and there’s more heat coming with Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats showcase on October 10 and James Hype on November 1. These are just a few highlights from a stacked fall lineup that’s sure to keep the energy flowing.
