It’s a New Year and we’ve got a new tune for all our Stage Hoppers out there. Sammy Newk delivers peak time techno with “IYKYK” out today as a Beatport Exclusive.

The Boston-based artist opens “IYKYK” with squelching acid techno synths that slowly tease the build. As new elements are introduced, the hypnotic groove takes on a new form, building the subtle tension before the ominous vocal sneaks into the atmosphere. For the drop, the deep, rumbling bass and strong, thumping kick provide the backbone, while the fluid acid lines keep the energy constant. The subtle textural and groove shifts give the track a sense of forward momentum without ever excessive . As the track reaches its conclusion, the experimental sound transforms one final time as the mysterious vocal returns and dissipates the atmosphere. If you’re a fan of melodic house and techno, “IYKYK” will hit the spot.

“IYKYK” will also hit streaming platforms on January 16!
