EDC Las Vegas 2024 was a dream! Last Friday, we gathered at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first day of the Electic Daisy Carnival! This year was different than the rest with the new layout and the new stage design, we have much to share. From Dusk til Dawn, we all danced to our favorite artist, shared a laugh with a friend, and made memories that will last a lifetime.
From Dusk till Dawn
EDC Las Vegas is a festival you should at least try once! The Dusk til Dawn is a unique experience only to Las Vegas to be able to party comfortably in the desert at night and recharge during the day to do it all again. Over 520,000 ravers drive, shuttle, fly, or walk in from camping to come together for what we all love music and community. One of my favorite parts that will never cease to amaze me is the walk into the speedway. Looking at your home from above is magical and something you will never forget.
This year KenticField was magical! Something you have to see to believe! Catching acts like Alesso, Illenium, Zedd and Subtronics on the main stage was incredible. So much talent and so many special guests all on a new version of the KineticCathedral! I can’t wait to see the smaller version they create for EDC ORLANDO. BassPOD has moved from the middle of the speedway to the total opposite side where NeonGarden was. I truly missed Basspod under the fireworks as I always looked forward to it. Let’s hope next year they consider moving it back! Either way, Tape B, Zingara, Wooli, and many more slayed the BassPod! Not to forget, the mesmerizing B2B between Subtronics & Level Up.
NeonGarden was a full-on megastructure that made it feel like a warehouse with the new stage design. Personally, I think this was the best NeonGarden yet! CircuitGrounds was a 360 design, with screens, lasers, and pyro surrounding the crowd. Saturday, CircuitGrounds had a special guest time slot and it turned out to be Fred Again, very unexpected and very energetic! Pixel Forest unfortunately eliminated the lightmaze, however did add more art installations in the area of the Rynobus Artcar. Downtown EDC was in the middle of the speedway this year, featuring the first-ever country saloon known as “YEEDC”. The crowd was dense all weekend long but we were still able to find good navigating points. Although, Sunday was noticeably more packed than the other days because of single-day ticket sales were available again this year.

Over the years, many changes have occurred, such as the shift from June to May. Also, the addition of EDC CAMP in 2018, which completely changed the game. Changes will always be made to EDC, big or small, but it will always be home! It was another incredible year for EDC Las Vegas and we had an amazing time. Insomniac has us coming back every year we can not wait to see what is new for 2025!
