Nostalgix‘s Star City Tour brought the energy to Trio Charlotte this past Sunday. Trio has cemented itself as the premier EDM nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina and the perfect venue for the versatile artist’s headline tour. Despite opening its doors only in May of 2023, Trio has quickly become a magnet for top-tier DJs, hosting an array of artists such as Deadmau5, Mau P, Knock2, Dr. Fresch, James Hype, and many more. Since relocating from my hometown of Miami, FL to Greensboro, NC, I’ve longed for the vibrant nightlife I left behind. Trio, however, thankfully recently filled that that void. With its state-of-the-art sound system and impeccable stage production, the venues space transforms into a dynamic yet intimate musical experience. The infectious atmosphere is further amplified by piercing lasers and a shimmering LED roof as Trio delivers an unparalleled experience for North Carolinians seeking their EDM fix. The incredible staff, from bartenders to bouncers, exuded energy and attentiveness, while the warm welcome from the media team, managers, and owners made us feel right at home during our interview preparation with Nostalgix.
Trio Charlotte is a must-stop for EDM lovers everywhere, where beats meet bliss and unforgettable memories are made. I’ll certainly be back for more!
Experiencing Nostalgix’s Star City Tour
Nostalgix Star City Tour kicked off 2024 with a bang, featuring a headlining tour paired with a masterful five-track EP. With previous stops in Vancouver, Brooklyn, Chicago, and more, Nostalgix’s performance at Trio Charlotte was an unforgettable experience. Her beats reverberated through the venue, transporting attendees to a realm of pure musical energy. The addition of a 360° DJ set transformed the venue into a persoanl party alongside Nostalgix. While interacting with the crowd and delivering her iconic blistering bass house sounds, Nostalgix had the audience primed for an unforgettable journey through Star City, featuring recent releases, timeless classics, and even taking an unintended request backstage!
