Suwanee Hulaween celebrates its tenth anniversary on Thursday, October 26 – Sunday, October 29, 2023. If you’re a veteran festival goer you know better than to miss a anniversary celebration! Suwannee Hulaween has unveiled a massive genre-crossing lineup to celebrate including massive names and talented up and coming acts. Hulaween is one of the last genuinely independent, large-scale music festivals, allowing it to maintain the core values and magic the festival’s team has been brewing for ten years.

“The festival and concert industry landscape continues to be bought up and homogenized by the majors, so staying the course as true independents and surviving through all of the highs and lows we’ve endured to this milestone 10 year anniversary, is incredible. We think back fondly of all the people who have been part of the Hula journey with us, and how the team continues to learn and grow to elevate the experience and lineup every year. We’ve proudly stayed true to this community and culture we are servicing and hope to keep doing that for at least another 10!” – Michael Berg, Co-Founder, Brand Manager, & Talent Buyer for Hulaween

Electrifying Headliners

Leading the pack is the electro-soul pioneer himself, Pretty Lights. Making his only East Coast festival appearance as part of his Soundship Spacesystem Tour, Pretty Lights is set to deliver a mesmerizing performance filled with his signature, sample-heavy sounds. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Pretty Lights has played a significant role in redefining America’s electronic music scene. Fans can expect a vibrant and bass-fueled set that will leave them craving more.

Joining Pretty Lights as a headliner is tech-house maestro John Summit. Known for his playful demeanor and rip-roaring sets, Summit will host Hulaween’s first-ever takeover by Off The Grid, his party-starting imprint. Label favorites renowned for igniting dance floors will offer unforgettable sets that will keep festival-goers grooving all night long.

The lineup also boasts Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist/producer Elderbrook, producer polymath Big Wild, and revered house producer/vocalist Channel Tres. These electronic music heavyweights will ensure that the dance floor is alive with pulsating beats and infectious energy.

Captivating Jam Bands

Hulaween has always celebrated the jam band scene, and this year is no different. Founders of the festival, The String Cheese Incident, will take the stage for three nights of headlining performances. They will be joined by Trey Anastasio Band, an offshoot of the legendary Phish, and the critically acclaimed indie-jam five-piece, Goose, who recently completed a joint tour across the North East. Other notable bands include Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, and the legendary roots-rock outfit Dispatch.

Diverse Music Offerings

Hulaween prides itself on providing a diverse range of music, and this year’s lineup does not disappoint. Neo-soul rapper Smino will take the stage as the festival’s sole hip-hop headliner, while the five-piece indie rock band Mt. Joy will deliver a headlining set that is sure to captivate audiences. The festival has one additional band headliner yet to be announced, building even more anticipation for the event.

Supporting Acts and Immersive Art Experiences

In addition to the stellar headliners, Hulaween 2023 will showcase a lineup of in-demand electronic music support acts. Montreal producer BLOND:ISH, underground bass purveyor Eprom, Italian DJ/producer duo Gioli & Assia, and genre-bending producer Manic Focus are just a few of the talented artists set to grace the festival’s stages. Attendees can expect mind-bending performances, bass-heavy beats, and boundary-pushing sounds that will keep them dancing throughout the event.

Staying true to its roots, Hulaween will feature celebrated bands such as funk-fusion ensemble Lettuce, funk-jam group Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and the critically acclaimed Anatolian rock/Turkish psychedelic folk outfit Altin Gün. These bands will provide soulful melodies, infectious grooves, and unforgettable live performances.
