MYTHM unleashes an apocalyptic debut LP, Mind Of Madness, out now via Zeds Dead label, Deadbeats. Riddled with individuality, creativity and sonic force, this collection of bass becomes a defining moment in MYTHM’s career. Regarding the new album, the Canadian bass artist shares:
Collaborating with producers has been a big part of my career, but for my debut album “Mind of Madness” I wanted to take a different path with only two MC features: Slowie and Rakjay. The album is a journey through all things MYTHM: dark, intense, deep, bold, but also a new side of my sound that I’m really excited to show my fans.”
MYTHM kicks off the LP with “Damage,” setting the tone of bass-heavy intensity. Next, “Grim” dives into experimental sequences while “Mercy” and “Switchblade” showcase apocalyptic energy and razor-sharp bass stabs. MYTHM shakes up the sonic tapestry with tracks such as “Doom” and “Takedown” and their gritty yet groovy atmospheres. With features like Slowie on “Deathwish” and Rakjay on “Rough,” MYTHM’s fearless experimentation in bass music captivates listeners. The finale of “Voices In The Ether” offers a diabolical culmination. Mind Of Madness creates a catalyst for MYTHM’s blend of gritty intensity with cinematic flair, immersing listeners in his dark and creative realm.
