Today, CloZee releases Microworlds, her highly anticipated third album. The French multi-talented artist crafts an imaginative and utopian sonic realm with enigmatic sound design, enchanting melodies and emotive atmospheres. Released via her own Odyzey Music label, CloZee tests the boundaries of her emotive and spiritual bass stylings.
Garnering a reputation as a sonic storyteller, CloZee has seamlessly weaved an emotional tale of personal vulnerability and growth throughout her instrumentally-led project. Microworlds is an exploration into CloZee’s escapist mind, with each song acting as a microcosm of sound, time, and space. The album unfolds like an auditory scrapbook as CloZee takes an abstract, metaphysical look at her life, encapsulating symbolic moments through sentimental soundscapes.

Regarding the album, CloZee shares:
‘Microworlds’ is my third album, created in about 2 years. It’s been the longest process to write an album so far, as it’s the reflection of so many shifts in my life. After overcoming the longest writer’s block of my career, I tapped into a lot of my memories and past stories to write those songs. It’s been a hard but incredible inner journey. I hope it will resonate with people, create new memories for them and become the soundtrack to some of their own life experiences.”
Venture into Microworlds
The 12-track album by CloZee takes listeners on an imaginative and transcendent journey. It begins with the cinematic and reverberant title track, followed by playful and intimate tones in “Childhood” and “Pillow Talk.” The odyssey continues to unfold with vibrantly imaginative tracks like “Tomboy” and an introspective collaboration with Ella Vos in “Glow In The Dark.”
Throughout the album, CloZee weaves her emotional history into the music, using layers and countermelodies to convey deeper meanings. “Contemplation” embraces a meditative ambience with ethereal melodics, while “Skylight” instills a sense of assurance and elation with boisterous bass influences. Next, “Courage” alongside electro-R&B songstress ROZET combines her soulful vocals with a blissful backdrop.
As the album begins to wrap up, “Antares” delves into inner conflict with haunting and bewitching tones, while “VISIONS” explores psychotropic basslines. “Missing You” captures the melancholic fantasy of lost love. Ultimately, the album concludes with “Odysseys,” a dynamic piano-led collaboration with Tripp St. that represents the end of this transformative journey.
