Breakaway Music Festival makes their return to NorCal this October with the debut of Breakaway NorCal. The festival and entertainment brand announced the expansion earlier this year, but fans have finally received a lineup. The new festival will debut at Cal Expo Center on October 11 and 12 with headliners Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Elderbrook, and Louis The Child.

As usual, Breakaway will bring together some of the biggest names in EDM. And, two names that never get left out of the conversation are Martin Garrix and Tiësto. Both Dutch producers have dominated the scene at their respective times with their dominant performances and timeless tunes.  Next up, Elderbrook brings his unique sound of varying influences from indie, house, and deep house, while Louis The Child has created a diverse discography that will have the crowd partying all night.

Well, despite these massive headliners, we can’t ignore the stacked lineup Breakaway has composed. From the speed house of Chyl, experimental bass of Daily Break, and definitive dubstep of Rusko, NorCal will offer the full spectrum of EDM. For my picks of top artists to catch, you won’t want to miss the live music of OPIUO and house music connoisseurs Kasablanca. But wait, there’s more! Two names are currently blurred out on the lineup. Any guesses on who they may be?

Don’t miss the Monstercat takeover at the Launch Pad stage when Breakaway NorCal lands at the Cal Expo Center in Sacramento this October 11-12.  General on-sale is now live today Friday, June 27 at 10:00 am PT. Grab your tickets here: Breakaway NorCal 2025 Tickets.
