Sometimes the best records come together at the last second. I produced the majority of this song in the lounge of the Charlotte airport a day before the session with Datti. I was on my way to La for a show after playing in the Dominican Republic and needed something new for our session the next day. I had other tunes but knew this was the one she’d really love. Right away she loved it and we wrote the rest of the song over an hr and it was done. Road tested it the next weekend and we knew we had something special on our hands. Big ups to Fish and the team for believing in it, we’re stoked to have it out on Catch & Release!”
