The rave scene is about to get its own reality TV spotlight with “Wooking for Love,” a new dating show centered around the culture, chaos, and charm of the EDM festival community. After months of building hype online, the show now appears to be taking off, with the entire season set to film in Denver.

What Is “Wooking For Love”?

Set to film across the bass capital, the show will feature 16 contestants across 12 episodes. Contestants are expected to be staying in a Morrison Ranch Villa, and we’re anticipating dates to iconic local venues, including Red Rocks and Mission Ballroom. A sneak peak of the challenges is already listed on “Wooking For Love’s” website including flow art choreography battles, stage-hand production match-offs, “Railride to sunrise” endurance test, and more.

Who Can Apply?

This is not your typical dating show. All identities, orientations, and relationship styles are welcome. As presented on their website, “Love is love, and every wook is welcome.”

One of the founders put it best: “I wanna see the absolute wookiest behavior. I wanna see the messiest wooks.” This is for wooks ready to find their forever groundscore.

How to Apply

Applications are officially open on www.wookingforlove.com. To enter, submit a 1–2 minute video (or link to Tiktok) sharing:

  • Your name and where you’re from
  • Your favorite festival memory
  • Why you’re ready to find love in the wook community

Show your authenticity, share your festival lore, and explain why you should be casted. Applications are open until Valentine’s day.

What’s Next?

One of the creators claimed earlier this week that they’re holding an event at Nova Studios which will include live music and a dating event for people who don’t necesarilly want to be on the show but still want to participate. There will also be live auditions. Applicants are encouraged to come, even if they already auditioned online.

There’s also some chatter around Denver watch parties, hosted by Mile High EDM, when the show aires. As “Wooking For Love” builds momentum, all eyes are on which brands, venues, and creators will sign on to support Denver’s newest piece of rave culture history.
