Fellow Stage Hoppers, we are just 14 days into 2025 and it’s already looking like a great year for electronic music lovers. Today, Anjuna begins its 25th anniversary with a new era, refreshed brand identity, and the launch of Anjunachill. This revamped frontline label, originally established as Reflections in 2022, will focus on ambient, downtempo, and chillout electronic music with over 250 releases and 150 million streams under the previous name. Anjunachill can be traced back to Above & Beyond’s yoga set at Burning Man 2014, which inspired the group’s acclaimed Flow State album and adjacent chillout releases. Now, the new member completes the Anjuna family, bringing a brighter light on the subtle and introspective side of EDM.
In 2025 Anjunachill will feature Cephas Azariah, Mark Barrott, and newcomers Planet of Souls. The duo, composed of Paul Rogers (NERD, Gorillaz, and Pete Tong) and Tom Barlow, will display some masterfully crafted tunes. Some familiar faces and new additions to the label include Luttrell, Steven Weston, BAILE, , PROFF, South African neo-classical duo Ad Harmonium and British producer Toutounji.

Anjunachill’s first release comes directly from Above & Beyond, with their new single “Shall We Begin.” The simple yet sentimental electronic piece first debuted on the 500th episode of Anjunadeep guest mix. Now, the three-minute journey delicately builds the instrumental atmosphere and echoes its reflective nature for all to hear. With a fitting title, “Shall We Begin” not only launches Anjunachill, but also presents a new year for Above & Beyond, who are set to play at Coachella this April.
