Regarding the inception of this track, Capochino shares:
This one started in May of 2023. I had just been laid off from my 9-5 job. Since I had a lot of free time I wrote 3 new song ideas every day for about 2 weeks straight. Among those ideas was the beginning of this song – the section with the chord progression, melody and drum groove. Later that summer when I was going through all my ideas I really loved this one and knew exactly where I wanted to take it. I wanted some heavy drops. One of my favorite things I did though was the easiest thing – pick a cool, unique vocal sample to use before the second drop.
